Mert Can is involved with the Turkish startup ecosystem since 2014, he always enjoys finding new and exciting solutions to problems big or small. He is now using his experience as an operator in two venture-backed startups, to help ScaleX portfolio companies to grow globally.

While he completed his BS in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, he is currently an MSc Financial Economics student at Bilgi University focusing on risk management.

Outside the office and the university, Mert Can loves sailing, going to the theatre, and reading philosophy, psychology, and economics. He is an avid fan of esports with also a shareholder in one team based in the UK.
