Cybeats started as an IoT device security platform protecting connected devices in critical facilities like hospitals, power plants, and factories, then evolved into Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) management and software supply chain security as regulatory attention shifted toward software transparency.

Cybeats was founded in 2016 by Dmitry Raidman, Vladislav Kharbash, and Peter Pinsker. Dmitry brought deep experience across cybersecurity, DevSecOps, IoT, and software supply chain security, and led the creation of Cybeats' SBOM products. Vladislav, the company's Chief Architect, added strong software architecture depth from Verifone and helped architect both the SBOM Studio and IoT Security backend. Together, the team had the technical DNA for the shift from connected-device security to software supply chain transparency.

IoT devices were multiplying across critical infrastructure faster than the tools to secure them, and Cybeats built a platform purpose-built for that gap rather than adapting traditional endpoint security to a very different category of device.
