IronBee was founded by Serkan Özal and Ercan Er, the team behind Thundra (a ScaleX and Battery Ventures-backed observability platform acquired by Catchpoint in 2023) and earlier veterans of OpsGenie, one of Turkey's largest software exits (acquired by Atlassian).

AI coding agents can now ship complex features in minutes, but verifying that output is production-ready has become the real bottleneck, a new category, not a feature. This team has already built and sold developer infrastructure together twice, and IronBee's free devtools reached over 200,000 installs across 140 countries entirely organically, before any commercial launch.
