Closing the identity governance gap for the applications legacy IGA can't reach.
Opnova is an AI-native platform that automates identity governance and IT operations for enterprise applications that legacy IGA and ITSM platforms can't reach. It centralizes access data from disconnected, spreadsheet-managed applications back into a company's existing governance tools, giving security and compliance teams full visibility without ripping out what they already have.

Opnova was founded in 2024 by Sinan Eren, José Luis Pereira, Tiago Melo, and Pedro Saleiro. Sinan has spent over 20 years in cybersecurity, co-authoring the bestselling Shellcoder's Handbook early in his career before building and selling two companies: Remotium, a mobile workspace platform acquired by Avast in 2015, and Fyde, a Zero Trust security company acquired by Barracuda in 2020. José, also a serial entrepreneur, worked alongside Sinan through both of those exits before joining him again at Opnova. Pedro brings 15+ years in AI, with work behind award-winning products, bias mitigation, and patents at top AI conferences, and Tiago brings over a decade of experience designing complex, real-time systems.
Enterprise IT and security teams had adopted SOAR and IGA tooling, yet still relied on manual work across hundreds of fragmented applications legacy platforms could not govern. We had worked closely with Sinan for years as one of our go-to cybersecurity experts, and he had already created real value for several ScaleX portfolio companies. His two prior exits, combined with a founding team deeply technical across cybersecurity, AI, and distributed systems, made Opnova a clear founder-market fit investment.
