Shadow IT, mapped and secured, before it becomes a breach.
Resmo was a SaaS and cloud security platform that acted as a knowledge base for a company's cyber assets and relationships. It gave DevOps and security teams near real-time visibility across cloud, Kubernetes, and SaaS tools like GitHub, Jira, and Slack, letting them query configurations, permissions, and changes through SQL.

Resmo was founded in 2021 by Serhat Can and Mustafa Akın, both ex-Atlassian engineers and AWS Heroes. Serhat had been a Principal Technical Evangelist at Atlassian, while Mustafa was a Principal Engineer; the two had worked together for years at Opsgenie and continued together after its acquisition by Atlassian.
Cloud and SaaS adoption was creating a fast-growing visibility gap for security teams: too many assets, too many permissions, and too many changes across fragmented environments. Resmo went after that gap early by giving teams a single source of truth for known and unknown assets, continuous compliance, and security hygiene. We also had unusual conviction in the founders: Berkay had known and supported the team since the idea stage, and Serhat and Mustafa had already operated inside one of the strongest Turkish software success stories at Opsgenie and Atlassian.
