Practical home robots, shipping today instead of someday.

WHAT THEY’RE BUILDING

Weave Robotics is building consumer home robots for everyday household chores. The company started with Isaac 0, a stationary laundry-folding robot, and is expanding into Isaac 1, a wheeled mobile robot that can tidy rooms, make beds, organize clutter, fold clothes, and put items away. Isaac 1 combines autonomous navigation, mobile manipulation, onboard perception, and a Remote Op layer where humans step in for edge cases. This gives Weave a practical route to reliability in messy home environments while generating real-world training data.

THE FOUNDING TEAM

Weave Robotics was founded in 2024 by Evan Wineland and Kaan Doğrusöz, both Apple veterans and Carnegie Mellon roommates since 2015. The team combines hardware depth, consumer product instinct, and systems-level execution experience. In home robotics, that mix matters: the challenge is not the demo, but reliability, manufacturability, user trust, and shipping into real homes.

WHY WE BACKED THEM

Consumer robotics has been overpromised for years, with many teams chasing broad humanoid platforms before proving household utility. Weave is taking a sharper path: start with a frequent, painful task, ship a constrained product, then expand into broader home automation through mobility, manipulation, teleoperation, and OTA learning. With Apple-trained product and hardware DNA, Isaac 0 gets Weave into homes today; Isaac 1 turns that wedge into a bigger domestic robotics platform.
